Ramallah Museums and BZU

Day 2 of Go Palestine started with morning energizers, followed by a bus ride to Birzeit. We first went to Birzeit University, where campers heard a lecture about the history of education in Palestine, and struggles Palestinians face. We later toured Birzeit University campus. We hopped on the bus, which took us to the Palestinian Museum just outside of Birzeit University. The campers viewed and experienced a gorgeous embroidery exhibit at the museum.

After the museum tour, we had a quick tour of the old city of Birzeit, and finished our tour with Oozy for lunch in the streets of the old town. We ended our day activities by going to the Yasser Arafat Museum in Ramallah.
